Q: Is the Oxford Stomp open to the public?

A: No. The Oxford Stomp is a private party for the Clients, Tenants, their staff, friends & families, of the Event Sponsors. Tickets can be purchased at a price of $50 plus GST & Fees per ticket which includes gate entry to the event, Rotary BBQ dinner and free bus transportation from downtown. All guests must be 18 years of age or older.

Q: Will tickets be available at the door?

A: Ticket Saleas are in advance by invitation and NO tickets will be available at the door.

Q: How can I get tickets to this event?

A: There are four ways to get tickets to the Oxford Stomp

  • Online by visiting www.oxfordstomp.com (“Invited Guests” are required to enter a password provided by the inviting sponsor)
  • Tickets are distributed to “Invited Guests” by the event sponsors directly.
  • In person at Bow Valley Square Admin Office - #300 Bow Valley Square 2, 205 5 Ave SW (Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM) or Ernst & Young Tower - Suite 700, 440 2nd Ave SW (Mon-Fri 8:30AM-4:00PM)
  • By phone by calling 403-205-7428

Q: What improvements have been made to the event for 2010?

A: "THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF 6TH STREET AND 6TH AVENUE. This will shorten our bus transportation times and improve our guest experience. Please take a look at the site map found on the Venue tab of this website. In addition, we have added a larger stage and two high definition video screens for your viewing pleasure. This year, PALM BAY vodka based coolers, from the makers of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, will be included in our beverage selection for 2010! Finally, we will now be accepting all major credit cards and debit cards at the beer ticket sales tent. ATM’s will still be on site for your convenience.

 

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: The Oxford Stomp will proceed regardless of weather condition, and refunds will not be provided due to adverse weather conditions. There are numerous tents on-site, which provide shelter from weather extremities, however, we encourage all attendees to dress appropriately for weather conditions.

 

Q: Is there any parking on site?

A: No, parking is not available. We urge all of our guests to enjoy responsibly and to not drink and drive. Free transportation to and from the downtown core will run every 15 minutes (starting at 2:30PM) via bus service from several pick up/ drop off locations. Please refer to the INFO page for more details.

 

Q: Are Credit Cards accepted and ATM machines available on site?

A: Yes, all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard & American Express) and Debit will be accepted for payment of drink tickets. As well, one ATM will be available on site.

 

Q: What not to bring?

A: Oxford Stomp security will not permit any tarps, lawn chairs or backpacks into the venue. Dinner is included with each ticket and bag lunches or other food items will not be permitted. You must be of legal drinking age to attend and Minors will not be permitted access into the venue.

 

Q: Is there a lost and found for items left at the event?

A: There is no lost & found at the event, but after the event you can call 403-398-9969 to see if your item was turned in. Oxford Stomp is not responsible for lost items and encourages guests to leave valuables at home.
