Event Information

Oxford Stomp is a long standing tradition in the Calgary Corporate Community and this year’s event, on Friday, July 12th at Fort Calgary, marks its 25th Anniversary. Tickets to this private event include Rotary’s famous beef-on-a-bun dinner, free bus transportation and performances by three international recording artists. Past artists include: GooGoo Dolls (2012), Theory of a Deadman (2012), Big Wreck (2012), INXS (2011), 54-40 (2011), Platinum Blonde (2011), Blue Rodeo (2010), Steven Page (2010), Tom Cochrane (2009) and Glass Tiger (2009).

The Oxford Stomp supports the Rotary Club of Calgary is a registered charity that invests 100% of the proceeds from this event back into the local community through a variety of charitable contributions. In 2012 Oxford Stomp raised $125,000 for the Rotary Club of Calgary’s Rotary Flames Children’s Hospice. This year the funds have been earmarked for a number of different projects as The Rotary Club of Calgary continues to invest in the community, both locally and internationally. These projects include a multi-year commitment to funding clean water technology in third world countries, helping troubled teens and enhancing the quality of life for Calgarians by providing funds for the development of 138 kms of pathways and specialty parks circling the city!
